Fuel wants to establish a brand for a non-alcoholic energy craft beer targeting the non-alcoholic beverage consumers, i.e. those who are not old enough or restricted somehow from alcohol consumption.

The goal

To introduce non-alcoholic beer which has an exact taste of a regular beer but energizing not intoxicating.

My role

Graphic designer, logo designer, packaging and label designer, project management from concept to completion

Responsibilities:

Examining the design brief, conducting research, and assembling a mood-board. idea sketches, logo design, package label design, and brand identity development.

Research

The first thing I looked at was existing craft beer companies' brand identities, which are frequently referred to as competitors, to see how they target their audiences and what we could learn from them and apply to our own brand to target our audience. I designed a mood board to help us settle on a style and feel based on my understanding of those distinguishing components.

Sketching

Using the mood-board I developed earlier, I drew numerous options for creating a mark that may symbolize the company's brand. Despite the fact that there were other concepts I liked, the one on number 5 stuck out because it incorporates the elements oil drop (fuel) and fire (energetic) with the word fuel.
